Questions to Ponder:

1. In reading the definition of “Burnout” (#1 quote) how would you say you are doing?

   #1. “I am far from alone. The people I know are talking about this, too, in their own different ways. They blame the rigours of parenting through a pandemic while still trying to work; they talk about loneliness and isolation, the way it leads to obsess over things beyond their control; they talk increasingly, about menopause and the way it fogs their minds. Some are even naming it: burnout. We are, all of us, charred remains. Nothing remains of us but blackened bones. Burnout comes when you spend too long ignoring your own needs. It is incremental sickening that builds from exhaustion upon exhaustion, overwhelm upon overwhelm."
